Environmental Noise Consultant
Work collaboratively as part of the BuroHappold and wider client design team to provide expert advice from concept through to project completion.
Working as a multi-disciplinary team, BuroHappold provides the full range of environmental services required on projects, drawing on our experience across the globe to provide expert advice and design, from concept through to project completion.
Ideally, you will have at least five years' experience as a Noise Consultant and have worked on a range of development types, with a degree in a relevant environmental discipline and a graduate member of Institute of Acoustics.
This role is fixed- term for 12 months, three days a week (0.6FTE).
Responsibilities will include:
Undertake all works necessary to complete an environmental noise and vibration assessment, typically in the UK, for an urban regeneration scheme.
Assessments are often part of a multi-disciplinary environmental impact assessment, led by BuroHappold, and the role will involve working collaboratively as part of the BuroHappold and wider client design team with:
- Establishing baseline,
- Undertaking monitoring, modelling and prediction of impacts
- Promotion of mitigation measures at both construction and operational phases.
